Our History
As the “world’s largest safari vehicle” and leading nature tech company, WildEarth has immersed millions of people from 100+ countries into Africa’s wild spaces. Over the course of nearly two decades, WildEarth has nurtured a global community of over 8 million wildlife enthusiasts— all of whom share the joy of feeling immersed in nature.
In late 2024, in honour of this community and the impact of WildEarth’s daily LIVE broadcasts from some of Africa’s last remaining wilderness areas, WildEarth Group (WEG) made the ambitious decision to create an independent, non-profit entity that would be dedicated to nature conservation and social impact.
The WildEarth Impact Foundation was born from a profound belief that nature’s stories can ignite a global movement for conservation. Through WildEarth’s platform, we witnessed a unique opportunity to channel this passion into action—educating the next generation, restoring South Africa’s ecosystems, shaping ethical ecotourism, and empowering local communities to lead conservation efforts.
